Pop Dash - Music Runner App Reviews

I love this game but it needs to be updated with more songs! Ive passed so many levels now that the songs are starting to get boring hearing them over and over again.

I really like this game, and I play it in spite of the problems, but the problems are numerous. Firstly, the game freezes a lot... You can be in the middle of a run, on a prize collection screen, or anywhere else and the game will just lock up forcing a restart. This becomes a major problem since you dont collect any prizes if it freezes up on the chest screen and it uses energy regardless of whether you make it to the level or not. Another problem is that, on occasion, the game will just stop loading the running path. It still counts toward your meters ran, so its still moving, there are just no obstacles. One more problem is that the frame rate drops constantly and causes you to run into things even when you have clearly touched the screen to dodge them. Update the game to be less buggy and Ill gladly give it 5 stars.

I loved Pop Dash when I first started playing. Im around LV40 and its getting repetitive with the same music over and over. Overall its a really good and you could add more missions.

I love this game. Something I always had against Subway Surfer was that I couldnt listen to music while playing it because I would always want to move to the music. This game fixed that 10x. If you like pop music and Subway Surfer, youll love this game. The only complaint I have with it is that the same songs being played over and over again begin to become tiring. I would love to see more songs added and perhaps more variety.

My opinion on this game may change, but know this: this app is annoying. When you first open the app after downloading, it says this: "Sorry, but your device is not compatible with this game." It also says something about how this will cause bugs. Idk why they put it up for download if this is a problem. Also, how do you customize the character and/or song??? Plz fix!!

Hey I love this game so much please add shimmer and shine and bubble guppies and floogals please I am a big music fan. Great game keep going on it and have the robot unlocked please for free because I dont have Facebook please.

This game is amazing. I came here because I saw an ad saying that Lindsey stirling was in a game and I was like "lets check it out" and I had no clue what this was until I played it- its like subway surfers with the running aspect and like minion rush with the level aspect, but it lacks the bugs and glitches they both had, the game is overall a lot smoother, and I love the dash of uniqueness with the whole music aspect of the game. If youre reading this, get it. You wont be disappointed. :)

This game rocks, and I love the music it plays (well most of them, but that doesnt matter much). But it takes like nearly 20 minutes to get one piece of energy out of ten for me to play. 20 minutes is too long in my opinion, so can you find a way to speed up the waiting time? And also, I wanted to play as the Lindsey Stirling character (one of the main reasons I downloaded this app), but can you find a way to get enough "coins" or "violins" to get the costumes of her avatars that cost real money? I cringe at the notion of spending actual money, unless its important.

This game is amazing gets you easily engaged and the music is lit too. You wouldnt want to stop playing trust me.

Before the update, it wouldnt let me open the app, it would crash. So I waited till an update came for it to fix it. It still crashes after the update. It wont let me play it

Every time I try to play the game will let me play while its downloading but its all laggy and I cant even use the controls!! Then when the game does reach 100 percent in downloading it backs me out of the app, every single time!! PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!

There are times when its unresponsive & it crashes a lot.

Ive only had this app for about a week now, and I am almost finished with the game. It doesnt feel like the challenges are really getting harder. Im on level 85 currently, and its not that difficult. Im actually probably going to delete the app once I get to 100 because its starting to get old really quickly because of the same songs over and over again. Its addicting at first but as you move up in levels your interest decreases.

This is a great game that i got easily hooked on. I love that you can play as Lindsey Stirling, who, along with Pentatonix, is my favorite musical artist. However there are a few things that can be improved. The first two will probably be fixed as it is a new game, but it is a little laggy at times, but Im sure it will be fixed soon. Also, I would appreciate if the song list was updated, especially those for the Lindsey Stirling mission. Add more of her awesome songs, i would love to here them (even though I have her album)! The last thing is, most games like this dont require energy. The fact that this one does is slightly annoying. Im not asking that energy is thrown away completely, but please increase the max energy or add something - not an in-app purchase, but a way to expand your energy with in-game coins. Its a lot of fun to play, however the issue of it constantly resets after you get the Master of Tides costume for Lindsey... Needs to be fixed.

So Im sure this will get fixed soon, I love the game, I do think there needs to be a little more to challenges but otherwise Im very satisfied, hopefully soon it will be fixed again so I can play again! Right now I can enter the game and begin play, but my character doesnt move.

It will be a good game!! but always shutting down even if Im playing the game with my last player it will shut down then I have to wait 15min. for a new player. Not good at all very frustrating.

Love this very addictive this is one game I wont give up on know love it so much thanks for making this game big fan :) keep it up

This was an awesome idea and I think the app is just great!!!!

I love this game! I enjoy how the courses align to the rhythm of the tunes playing (reminds me of Audiosurf). I love how Lindsey Stirling was incorporated into the game. I like how the difficulty level isnt too high, so its a lot less about white-knuckle tense focus (something I have to do in Geometry Dash) and more about laid-back having fun, with occasional areas that need skill (the arrow courses, I call them). Now, here are the parts I believe need some work. I have discovered a bug with the Lindsey Stirling quest. After saving up 400-odd violins, I managed to purchase the first Lindsey Stirling costume, and was left with 1 violin. I would like it to be clearer that one PURCHASES the outfit with those violins, and it is not simply "now unlocked and available to use." Now, when I play the LS quest, I gather 30 or so violins, it says so on the "youre dead" wrap-up, it says so above the costume list before I start another run. Once I begin the run, the counter resets back to 1 violin. I have lost progress in this way 4 times now, and its really irritating me - Im pretty sure Ive gathered at least 200 violins, and they all just get erased. Thats the main bug frustration. The rest I would like to put in this review have to do with features that should be included. The songs get old... very old. I love LS, but please, we need more than 2 of her songs. I do not want to get sick of her beautiful violin dubstep, but it is approaching. More songs in general would be nice too. There needs to be more maximum energy. At least, have there be an option to increase maximum energy by spending coins or diamonds (not by spending real money, please. PLEASE.). At the current maximum of 5, I can only fit in two runs before I have to wait 20 minutes for a third run. On the raised areas (plateaus), where the character runs up a ramp to collect more items or step on more arrows, there are times when I die and get stuck below the plateau. Theres no way for me to get back up before my safety shield runs out and I die again instantly. There should be a list somewhere that lists all the songs and has the option to not play some of them. Some songs I dont like, and asking the developers of this app to remove them entirely is just silly. Id like to customize the playlist of songs. Even better, Id like there to be a feature where some of my iTunes music could be used in this game! That would be so cool to create courses based on my personal playlist! That would understandably take a long time to program, although Audiosurf manages it, so hopefully its a feature that can be implemented at some point. Most of these are small issues I have with the game, barring the violin bug that has me clawing off my fingers with frustration. Overall, great game, lots of potential! Psst... maybe the devs could add some Pianoguys music on there too? Lindsey Stirling and Pianoguys music go really well together.
